Salem Lake, 1009 Salem Lake Drive
Spend an afternoon at Salem Lake enjoying a PaddleFit stand-up paddle board lesson & lake tour. Creek Week partner Triad ECO Adventures is offering 50% off for Creek Weekers for this unique paddle board learning experience. The $24.50 fee (half-price!) includes your paddle board, a paddle (thank goodness), a leash, a required life vest (or bring your own), a required whistle, and PaddleFit instruction before departure. (If you listen to your instructor, you won't get wet!) Even if you might have paddle boarded before, you are likely to learn new nuggets of useful information with this thorough PaddleFit coaching session. Participants must be able to follow instructions, be in good physical health, be at least twelve years of age (with parent if 18 or younger), weigh less than 260 lbs, & sign a waiver. Advance payment and reservation required, limited to 9 participants, first come first served.
If the Saturday paddleboard session fills up, a second paddleboard session will be offered on Sunday, March 26
Reserve your space @ www.TriadECOadventures.com or 336/722-7777 using booking discount code "creekandpaddle" (lowercase, no spaces). Optional instructor/guide gratuities are NOT included. Water bottle & sunscreen recommended, as is using the restroom prior to launch (porta-potties on site). No shoes necessary while on your paddle board. Wear clothing that would wick water well if it were to get damp. All participants will also receive discounts off future TEA excursions, discounts off local boutique SUP products, & a free Spontaneous SUP Meet-Up membership.
