Yadkin River Aerial Introduction

Take a memorable river-view flight in a motorized “trike” up and down the Yadkin River, from east of Idols Dam to the turnaround at Tanglewood Park. One of the licensed pilots with Creek Week partner Piedmont Aerosports will give you birds-eye views of Richard Childress' estate, Salem Glen, the BMX facility, Tanglewood, Clemmons, the BB&T Soccer Fields, Bermuda Run, Oak Valley, and Ashley Furniture The $87.50 fee (half price!) includes an orientation to the aircraft and helmet rental. Bring a jacket and gloves -- it can get cold aloft! Riders must sign a waiver, be 18 or older and weigh no more than 230 pounds.
