Saturday, March 23, 10 a.m. – noon
River Oaks Community Church,
1855 Lewisville-Clemmons Road, Clemmons.

Come for a FUN opportunity to learn about fishing with the help of the folks at the Village of Clemmons and the Forsyth County office of N.C. Cooperative Extension! There will be family-friendly casting demonstrations and lessons -- a terrific way to bond with the kids by teaching them a fun skill!

Also for kids, there will be face painting, craft tables and fun games including Backyard Bass, a game that will put your child’s new casting skills to the test! You’ll also learn about water insects and the types of water they inhabit in North Carolina.

There will be giveaways, and the Piedmont Triad’s own Lenny the Lifeguard may make an appearance! Lenny is a happy, hoppy frog who will be spreading his message of water safety and spreading smiles at this celebration of all things fishy! The activities are appropriate for all ages, so bring the whole family! If it rains the event will be moved inside.

And if you need a sweet treat, Mama Mia’s Italian Ice will be on hand with its mobile cart. See why patrons call it “the best Italian ice around” and “the real thing.”!

Directions: River Oaks Community Church is on Lewisville-Clemmons Road midway between I-40 and U.S. 421.
