Learn about our local frogs and toads with a walk through the wetlands of Ivey Redmon Park (in the woods beyond the playing fields). Sierra Club Foothills outing leader Henry Fansler and Kernersville Stormwater Manager Wendy Hartup will begin the walk with a presentation about what species you may see or hear, and how to identify them and their habitats.

A NC toad and frog call app is available at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.johneyboy.frogcalls&hl=en_US&gl=US.

Anyone participating in this activity should be prepared for wet and muddy conditions and dress for the weather. Participants under 18 must be with a parent or guardian.

Register by sending an email to Henry Fansler at hbjfansler@windstream.net or 336.473.0283. Indicate which walk you’re attending. Meet at the dragonfly sculpture.
