The more deep-rooted plants along a streambank, the better. This year for Forsyth Creek Week, the Town of Kernersville, Village of Clemmons, City of Winston-Salem, and Town of Lewisville are teaming up to offer shoreline garden kits for streambanks. Kits will include instructions and specific plugs of vegetation to plant along streambanks. Each sign up will be picking up one full kit.
Pick up will be in Kernersville, Clemmons, Lewisville OR Winston-Salem. Please make sure to pay attention to which location you have chosen to pick up your kit.
To be put on a waitlist, if your location is full, please email Megan McDowell at mmcdowell@toknc.com and specify location. We will do what we can to accommodate your preference for a pick up location but realize this may not be possible. Waitlist people will be contacted in the event we have no shows for kits.
